As you all know too well, the due diligence process is a very time-consuming task, which can take anywhere from several days to several weeks or months to complete, depending on the complexity of your subjects. Organisations are encouraged to start collecting due diligence forms and documents as early and as efficiently as possible. Having all the forms easily available for your subject to fill in, will boost your credibility as a serious organisation.
One of KYC Portal’s customer outreach modules is that of reducing the dependence of emails when conducting due diligence, by giving you the ability to send a secure link to your subject, in order for them to download, fill-in and upload forms and/or documents back into your KYCP. We have now gone a step further with our Document Mail Merge feature.
The Document Mail Merge feature automatically merges pre-populated fields from KYCP, into your documents so your client won’t need to enter basic details like name or surname, for example. This is done by simply uploading an HTML template of any document and adding specific keynames of the fields required in the document. Once the template is downloaded in KYCP, it will open in PDF format with the requested fields already filled in.
Some examples of where the Document Mail Merge feature will be beneficial is for documents such as Source of Wealth and Source of Funds Declarations, Remediation documents etc..
